Historic Bungalow Renovation
We renovated this 1915 bungalow, subtly reimagining it for easy 21st century family living. The focus of the renovation was to open up the small dark kitchen, bringing in more light to show off the new cobalt blue jewel: a gorgeous La Cornue stove. The surrounding space does not compete for attention but rather blends harmoniously, incorporating tranquil colors and minimal accessorizing to provide the family with an elegant yet relaxed place to congregate.
Maximizing natural light and incorporating a sense of openness was vital. Muted blues create a unifying feel throughout the home, allowing for a perfect retreat to the hustle and bustle of a busy day in the city.
